Description[]

Sparkster attempts to prevent Generalissimo Lioness's missile from reaching Eginasem. Inside he finds a grotesque, sentient core that attacks him

Details[]

Apart from a brief assault by robots at the beginning, this entire stage consists of the battle with the Missile Core. The core cycles between three attacks: the first is a torrent of wolf-shaped fireballs, which must be destroyed before they reach Sparkster. The second is a thin laser beam, which does not reach Sparkster on the ground but deters him from approaching. The third, which is introduced when the Core is close to defeat, is a barrage of bombs dropped from above.

The Core cracks as it sustains damage, shattering upon death. Ghostly heads appear to fly out as the weapon explodes, averting the destruction of Eginasem.
