Lake Side is the first stage of Sparkster (SNES).
Description[]
This stage opens by the side of a beautiful lake teeming with plant life. The peace is soon disrupted by the arrival of the Wolf Army, and Sparkster boards their airship in pursuit of Princess Flora.

At the beginning of the stage, Temper-Drilln bursts forth from a mountain in the background, beginning the Wolf Army invasion. The first phase is a large open area where Sparkster can climb on trees, and slide down their elongated branches. Initially, the only dangers are seed-spewing flowers, but a dark cloud soon sweeps across the ground, transforming rock piles into Wolf Army soldiers. As Sparkster walks up a cliff, he encounters an ape robot clinging to the underside of the Wolf Army airship. It simply hops around flailing its arms, and even holds a banana the player can take. After destroying the robot, Sparkster charges his rocket pack and bursts through the hull of the ship.
Aboard the ship, Sparkster fends off Wolf Soldiers and robots clinging to rails. He has to climb up two vertical shafts to proceed. Inbetween is a strange room where wolves will spawn infinitely if a box is broken, but this can be ignored. After sliding down a rail into a long corridor, he finds Princess Flora. Suddenly, she is snatched up by Axel Gear, while Temper-Drilln crashes through the hull. As Axel escapes, Sparkster has to dispatch the gold titan. It can only be harmed by attacking its laser-firing eye, and only when its helm is down.
