  • Sorry but I just can't hold myself back here anymore because I'm slowly getting triggered by this.

You really have the nerves to tell me to make the backgrounds of Sprites transparent just because "other Wikis have it that way". I'm not "other" Wikis and I was ripping these Sprites out of the games myself. What's the point of making these backgrounds transparent? As soon as people download them and open them in MircoSoft Paint (as example) they will lose their transparency, or they can add the transparency by their very own with the help of certain programs. I really see no point of wasting my time for working on a transparent Background. This is just nitpicking. Nothing more, nothing less. If I ever feel like making them transparent then I will, but certainly not today or in the upcoming days.

FURTHERMORE it's really astounding that you, as Administrator, expect so much but contribute this less when it comes down to one thing: Communication.

You expect me, someone who is very new to this Fandom Wikipedia things, to learn everything myself instead of really helping out in that matter or at least to explain the simple basics that shouldn't be too hard to explain. Just because I said that I am capable to understand things quick doesn't mean I can learn everything completely by my own. Communication is key. You are the Administrator! You have responsibilities! Don't just add someone to your Wiki and say: "Oh yeah, this is your working space now. Good luck on your things.". You can be glad that I'm smart enough to take other Articles as a guidance to understand the formatting etc. this way.

Do you want to know what I think about all of this? Since a certain amount of time now I feel like all I'm really good for is to provide you the Japanese Manuals, otherwise I have no value to all of this. I feel used.

Seeing you working so fast just makes me less effective as a member of this Wiki. Every time I'm done with something you were doing something else behind my back without talking to me first about the changes you are going to make. And then the entire page is plastered with just your name for the newest contributions. If you want to run this site entirely by your own so you can get all the Credit for all the "hard work" you've put into this Wiki then just say a thing, I'll take my things and leave the Rocket Knight Fandom Wikipedia again. You are just treating me as someone who provides you the Japanese Manuals because you can't translate them by your own, otherwise I'm not really important to this Project.

I'm not sticking to this kind of treatment.

As long as you don't learn to communicate with me in all regards of the Rocket Knight Fandom Wikipedia I'm not going to continue my work. I was patient enough and told myself to stay calm because maybe I'm just seeing it the wrong way. But no.

You are working on so many things in such a fast pace and all I see is your name on the frontpage for the latest Contributions. I really see no point in continuing if there's no interest in any sort of communication between us.

You asked me for helping you out but so far I had no real communication with you in terms of the work and roles at Wikipedia itself. All you were asking for was minor things related to Rocket Knight which you might want to add into one of the Articles. Sometimes you are questioning things that should be obvious to answer, sometimes you are questioning things neither I or anyone else could give you an answer to. And some things need to be translated first so I can give you a 100% legit answer. I don't provide fake information.

I'm also taking my time here to tell you that I am translating these Manuals all by myself. I'm not a professional. I'm still average in terms of translations. I need my time. Japanese is a complicated and vague language. I can't provide you the entire translation in around 2 hours. That's close to impossible. And my friend who is willing to translate the Beep! Magazine articles regarding Rocket Knight together with me is also very busy.

Sorry but I needed to get all of this off my chest. I'm a human that relies on working together with people. I rely on communication for effective work. If you aren't this type of person then sorry, I'm not the right person to work with.

    Sincerely,

    KokoaMinto

    • Well, I'm sorry if I was bugging you for the Golden Sword translations, about my edits, I never wanted to "rival" with anybody since I don't want to create fights. It gives me some bad memories when I tried to help someone...

About the sprites needing transparent backgrounds, I guess the way I wrote it comes off rude and pushy. Though I never wanted to such to make conflicts, of what I write.

      - About the Golden/Holy Swords:

I don't mind you asking me things like that. I will give you an answer as soon as I was able to translate the Story of the RKA2 Manual up to this point. So far all I was able to translate was something about a "Legendary Armor" and the "Key of the Seal", and that the story takes place 5 years after the plot with Devligus Devotindos.

From what I can tell you about all of this is one thing: The US/Overseas Manual was cutting out a lot of the story. There are certain parts that were translated, but there's also a lot of stuff missing in comparison to the Japanese Manual. It takes more time than expected to translate the Japanese Manual, but from the looks of it this Manual has way more information up its sleeves than the US/Overseas version has. Axel Gear and Princess Cherry are involved within the Story of the Japanese Manual, as example. Something that is entirely missing in all other Manual versions.

      - About the rival thing:

I don't see it as some sort of rivalry between us, but I told you once before that you should try to slow down a bit. And it's necessary to communicate with each other so we can work effectively as a team. It's really not my intention or interest to rival with anybody - All I want is to work hand in hand with you so we both can have a benefit out of it. The benefit is giving the right information to the people that stumble across the Rocket Knight Wikipedia.

But tell me: How should all of this work if no communication is at hand between us? I know you were working on this Wiki site alone for 2 years now (or even longer), but now we work as a team. A team needs communication to stay up-to-date with everything surrounding the Wikipedia Articles and Template/Layout changes.

I don't like to fall into conflicts with others myself. I understand that you don't want to create fights. No one likes to fall into arguments with others. Nonetheless I expect a bit more interaction between us as a team. I rely on you as much as you rely on me.

      - About the sprites:

As I said before I don't really get the entire deal of making the backgrounds transparent. But I will replace them with transparent versions once I get the time for it. There's really no point in rushing things.
